Julianne Lindstedt

Owner/Instructor

Born into an equestrian family Julianne grew up in the horse show community, developing a deep respect for both the sport and the community who makes it possible. From an early age, she was surrounded by top-level horsemanship, which shaped her thoughtful, foundation centered approach to riding and training.

Now embarking on her professional career at Highmark Equestrian, Julianne specializes in the Hunter/Jumper disciplines, although her background also includes pleasure and dressage riding, which enhances her ability to develop balanced, educated riders on the flat across all levels.

As an instructor, Julianne is passionate about producing confident, adaptable riders with the skills necessary to succeed on a variety of horses. She focuses on correct basics, feel, and horsemanship, helping riders build a solid foundation that translates seamlessly from flatwork to jumping and competition environments

Melissa Caron

Owner

Originally from New Jersey, Melissa began her riding journey at the age of eight and, like many young riders, was immediately captivated by the sport. Within a year, an overseas move to Europe led to more intensive training near Brussels, Belgium, where she developed a strong foundation through dressage, voltige (trick riding), extensive flatwork, and jumping.

Into her early teens, Melissa competed in the jumper ring both in Europe and in New Jersey before taking an extended break following a second overseas move. Fast forward through several years of bareback lessons, barrel racing, overnight camps, cow penning, early morning trail rides and midnight runs through the woods - she has now returned to the ring as a dedicated “Adult Ammy”, enthusiastic to rejoin the equestrian community and inspired by supporting and watching the next generation of riders pursue their passions.

Committed to fostering a supportive, professional barn culture and to developing both horses and riders to reach their full potential, Melissa is excited to help bring Highmark Equestrian to the next level.
